The Yorktown Police Department has begun its annual donation drive in observance of the Captain Kenneth Sgroi Act of Kindness Day. The collection drive, which accepts donations through March 16, will benefit two distinct causes: the non-profit organization United for The Troops and the DiNoia family, who lost their Yorktown home in a devastating fire.

YWD staff will be performing water system improvements to a number of homes on Hanover St. during the week of 03/09/26 - 03/13/26 between the hours of 08:30 AM - 03:00 PM. The work may involve a temporary water service interruption to those homes. Notices were hand delivered to the affected parcels. We appreciate your cooperation during these scheduled repairs.
