Parks & Rec Seasonal Employment - Lifeguard and Gate Attendant

Lifeguard Eligibility: Must be at least 15 years of age. Candidates must possess American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification OR American Red Cross Waterfront Lifeguarding Certification OR other NYS Health Department approved equivalent certification, AND hold American Red Cross Basic Life Support for the Professional Rescuer CPR or American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR (or other NYS Health Department approved equivalent). The CPR must be recertified on an annual basis (regardless of 2-year issued certification). Acceptable certifications can be found here for Lifeguarding and CPR and in Supporting Documents. 

Gate Attendant: Must be at least 15 years of age. Gate Attendants are responsible checking members into the pool facility using the membership card scanner. At times, will collect gate or guest fees in cash.
