  • HYDRANT FLUSHING SCHEDULE - November 2, 2017

    The Yorktown Consolidated Water District will be flushing fire hydrants between the hours of 7:30 am and 2:30 pm on November 2, 2017 on the following streets: Cabot Lane, Crawford Road, Decatur Road, Horton Road, Lakefront Avenue, Lawrence Road, Lexington Avenue, Lincoln Drive, Parmly Court, Parmly Road, The Landing on Mohegan Lake and Old Yorktown Village.

  • New Downing Park Playground Ribbon Cutting

    On Friday, June 19th, the Town of Yorktown held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of the newly renovated Downing Park Playground. Construction of the new accessible, inclusive play area was made possible by a generous donation from The Gilbert Beaver Conference Farm. The new playground features drum, chime and horn panels, a garden arch, cruise line, cozy cocoon and sky tower. This playground is a new opportunity not just for kid with disabilities, but also their parents.
