Algonquin Gas Transmission Operational Activities Scheduled for Thursday, 9/20 & Friday 9/21

The Algonquin Gas Transmission will be conducting operational activities on its pipelines which run through the Town of Yorktown.  The work, which will occur at Algonquin’s facility in Granite Knolls Park off of Stony Street, is scheduled for to be conducted today and Friday, September 21st.

They stated that while the work will not involve the release of gas in Yorktown, the activities may cause some noise and odor and there is absolutely no cause for alarm and there will be no danger whatsoever to persons or property in the area.
