Lake Mohegan Fire District Election
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Annual Election of the Lake Mohegan Fire District will take place on December 13, 2016 between the hours of 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM at the Jefferson Valley Fire Station located at 500 Lee Blvd., Yorktown Heights, NY for the purpose of electing one Commissioner for a 5 year term, commencing on January 1, 2017 and ending on December 31, 2019. All duly registered residents of the Lake Mohegan Fire District shall be eligible to vote. You must register with the County Board of Elections by November 21, 2016 to be eligible to vote.
The petitions for the Annual Election of the Lake Mohegan Fire District to elect one Commissioner for a five year term and one Commissioner for a three year term may be picked up at 1975 E. Main Street, Mohegan Lake, NY on November 10, 2016.
Candidates for Distsrict Office shall file their petitions with twenty-five qualified voters of the District with the Secretary of the Lake Mohegan Fire District at Lake Mohegan Fire Headquarters, 1975 E. Main Street, Mohegan Lake, NY no later than November 23, 2016 12:00 Noon. All candidates must be registered voters and must reside in the Lake Mohegan Fire District 30 days prior to election.
