Customer Alert About August Monthly Ticket Stock Issues Effective: July 19, 2018

Due to a problem with the ticket stock, the August Monthly Ticket will not be available for purchase until early next week.  We are testing this stock thoroughly, but have encountered ticket jams with the Ticket Vending Machines.

Customers are encouraged to purchase their August monthly ticket using our free, convenient MTA eTix App.

Also, due to this problem, Metro-North will not be selling monthly tickets with $50 MetroCards for August. Customers should purchase monthly tickets with a $0 MetroCard and can add value at a Subway MetroCard Vending Machine. A separate $25 MetroCard can also be purchased from our machines.
