Yorktown's 30th Plant-In
YORKTOWN BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE
“TIME FOR ANOTHER COLORFUL ADVENTURE”
Volunteer to Beautify Yorktown on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at 8:30 a.m.
Greetings from the Yorktown Beautification Committee. It’s that time of year again! Time for our 30th PLANT-IN! Time to join forces with Mother Nature and make Yorktown’s busy intersections come alive with color.
“Beautification is the password for environmental improvement.” With these words in mind, we invite you to participate in this year’s PLANT-IN. Colorful plantings thrive in Yorktown thanks to the volunteers that support the efforts of Yorktown’s Beautification Committee. This year, more than ever, we need your energy, interest and help for this ambitious undertaking.
What better way to show you care. Green thumb or not, you are cordially invited to participate. Bring your favorite trowel and meet us at the front of the Yorktown Community and Cultural Center (YCCC), 1974 Commerce St. Yorktown Heights, NY 10598
SUNDAY, May 23, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. Rain date is Sunday June 6th. We look forward to seeing you!
