2025 Elections

Special Election - County Executive (Unexpired Term) – February 11, 2025 - Hours: 6 AM – 9 PM

Primary Election – June 24, 2025: Early voting for the Primary Election will be Saturday, June 14, 2025 – Sunday, June 22, 2025

General Election -- November 4, 2025: Early voting for the General Election will be Saturday, October 25, 2025 – Sunday, November, 2, 2025.

 

Restrictions on Machine Voting:

Any voter who is issued an Absentee / Early Mail ballot, and who subsequently attempts to vote in person, must only be allowed to vote via affidavit ballot. The affidavit ballot will be kept separate until the election is completed. Election officials will verify whether the voter’s early mail ballot has been received.  If the voter’s absentee / early mail ballot has been received, the affidavit ballot will not be counted. If the voter’s absentee / early mail ballot has not been received, the affidavit ballot will be counted.

Voter registration lists shall indicate that an Early Mail ballot was issued.

Absentee / Early Mail Ballots For the November 5, 2024 General Election:

  • Put it in the mail ensuring it receives a postmark no later than November 5, 2024.
  • Bringing it to the Westchester County Board of Elections Office (25 Quarropas Street, White Plains, NY 10601) no later than November 5th by 9 p.m. 
  • Bringing it to an early voting poll site in Westchester County between October 26th and November 3rd.
  • Bringing it to a poll site in Westchester County on November 5th by 9 p.m.

Absentee Ballot
Qualifications to Vote by Absentee Ballot:

  • Absent from your county or, if a resident of New York City absent from the five boroughs, on Election Day.
  • Unable to appear at the polls due to temporary or permanent illness or disability.
  • Unable to appear because you are the primary caregiver of one or more individuals who are ill or physically disabled.
  • A resident or patient of a Veterans Health Administration Hospital.
  • In jail or prison for any reason other than a felony conviction. This includes anyone who is awaiting grand jury action, awaiting trial, or serving a sentence for a misdemeanor.
