Ski & Snowboard Lessons with Thunder Ridge

REGISTRATION BEGINS MONDAY, NOVEMBER 18TH 2024!

Thunder Ridge and Yorktown Parks and Recreation are happy to welcome you to the 2024-2025 Ski and Snowboard Season!

The Snowsports School at Thunder Ridge continues to grow and improve with programs for the young novice skier & snowboarder. These lessons are designed to teach and improve skills, hopefully instilling a passion for winter sports.

Programs are scheduled to begin Thursday, January 2^nd through Wednesday, January 8^th 2025. Lessons are 90 minutes long and run for 6 weeks. 

Lessons are for skiers and snowboarders, all levels,  AGES 8+   (no exceptions)

*Please note, Thunder Ridge closes Sundays at 5pm.  Your ticket included with the lesson is available at 2:45pm.  If you wish to come earlier you will need to pay the full rate for the available day or afternoon ticket, if we have not reached capacity.

How to Register:

1. Please read through all information provided in the enrollment packet.
2. Fill out COMPLETELY the following forms:
   • Enrollment Form
   • Snowsports School Lesson Program Liability Release
3. Completed packets along with payment must be handed into the Yorktown Parks and Recreation Department office.

Payment must be made with check, made out to Thunder Ridge Ski Area

Please note if any registration information is missing on the enrollment forms, Thunder Ridge will be unable to register the individual for the program. BE SURE TO FILL OUT ALL FORMS COMPLETELY. 

*Registrations are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration ends December 10^TH 2024*

For children ages 4 through 7: a one hour, 6-week Midweek MiniBolt program is available during the day, mid-week. Additional weekend programs, including Saturday and Sunday mornings are also available for ages 4 and up.  Registration for these programs is directly through Thunder Ridge and information is available on the website, www.thunderridgeski.com.
