DISCOLORED WATER NOTICE - JULY 2, 2018

On June 30, 2018,  Northern Westchester Joint Water Work's Amwalk filtration treatment plant was temporarily shut down due to a process issue. The plant was placed back online later that same day.  Some residents may notice a discoloration of water. The Yorktown Consolidated Water District staff is currently flushing fire hydrants on the streets that were affected by this shut down. Please run your cold water to assist in clearing the discoloration.  If you have any questions please contact the Water District office at 914-245-6111.
