Fire Hydrant Flushing Today: Sparkle Lake Area

The Yorktown Consolidated Water District will be flushing fire hydrants between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. today on the following streets: Parts of Granite Springs Rd., Gregory St., Dunning Dr., Barway Dr., Alden Dr., Ione Pl., Varro Rd., Hedwig Dr., Hyatt St., & Locust Rd. Side streets off of Hyatt St. (without hydrants) may experience discolored water & will need to run their water following hyd. flushing.

Your water may be discolored during the hydrant flushing. Try to avoid doing laundry during this period. Upon completion, please flush your cold water line until clear should you experience discolored water.
