Brian J. Slavin Aquatic Center
The Brian J. Slavin Aquatic Center consists of a fenced in kiddie splash pool, an interactive pool for children taller than 41 inches, a diving pool, and a 25 meter lap pool. A snack bar, restrooms, showers, and changing areas are included in the main entry building. Also within the center is a lifeguard and first aid building. Enjoy yourself inside one of the children's areas, on the grassed lawns, lounging on one of the lounge chairs, or grab lunch or a snack in the covered picnic area. A playground is also located in Shrub Oak Park, just outside the aquatic center gate.
All Yorktown pools require a pool pass to enter. View the Parks and Recreation page for more information. Please also note the following:
-
Areas will be closed or will close early on days of inclement weather.
-
Children must be at least 14 years old in order to utilize the facilities without adult supervision.
-
Only US Coast Guard approved Type III lifesaving devices are allowed at our Town pools. Although US Coast Guard approved Type III devices are allowable this does not replace the role of parental supervision of their child. All parents must directly supervise their child in and around the water.
