Dinner & Auction to Benefit Brett Alcaro
Hilltop Hanover Farm of Yorktown Heights is sponsoring a dinner and auction on Saturday, October 3rd from 7:00 to 9:00 PM to benefit Brett Alcaro. Alcaro, former farm manager at Hilltop Hanover Farm, is presently battling bile duct and liver cancer.
Area chefs and restaurants are volunteering their time and products to create a tapas dinner with beer and cider tasting. All proceeds from the event will support Brett, his wife Germaine and son, Oliver. Tickets for the dinner are $75 each.
Lucille Munz, the executive director of Hilltop Hanover Farm, has reached out to the community to assist Brett and the response has been overwhelming. The following restaurants/chefs/purveyors have agreed to participate in the benefit dinner: Café of Love and Ladle of Love (Mt. Kisco, Fit Stop Nutrition (Yorktown Heights), Mambo 54 (Tuckahoe), Bella Cucina Maria (Portchester), Seasonz Bounty (Ossining), Sweet Grass Grill and Tomatillo (Tarrytown and Dobbs Ferry), Village Social (Mt.
