Legacy Fields Are Open!

As promised and ahead of schedule, Town Supervisor Tom Diana reopened the Woodlands Legacy Fields!

This morning the Town's Parks staff removed the Park Closed signs and reopened the park after a sink hole formed and abruptly closed the park at the end of December.

Enbridge finished the restoration work and has agreed to perform semi-weekly aerial patrols of the pipeline right-of-way, monthly site visits, they will perform electrical resistivity checks, and do monthly surveys of 7 possible settling monitoring areas. 

Town Parks staff will also perform monthly checks of the grounds when they are on site for maintenance of the buildings and ballfields. 

Enbridge is expected to submit a report to the Town and are scheduled to appear at April 18th Town Board meeting to report on their response.
