Solar Eclipse Safety

Today, April 8th, at approximately 2:10 pm, there will be a partial solar eclipse. Please follow the following safety tips:

• Use a handheld solar viewer or approved eclipse glasses only.
• Do not use eclipse glasses while driving.
• Use vehicle headlights during the event.
• Watch for other motorists and pedestrians.
• Don’t drive distracted.
• Do not attempt to photograph the eclipse without a special solar filter.
