Yorktown Restaurant Celebrates 35 Years
April 4, 2024—Little Sorrento restaurant celebrated 35 years in Yorktown Heights on Wednesday with help from local officials.
The Italian restaurant opened its doors at 3565 Crompond Road in 1989 and the business commemorated the event by offering its traditional dishes at 1989 prices.
“From our family to yours, we thank you for sharing so many meals and special occasions with us,” the DePaterio family wrote on Little Sorrento’s website.
Little Sorrento has a devoted following. The restaurant has a 4.4 rating on Google with 825 reviews, many of which declare their love for the cuisine and staff.
“Little Sorrento’s specialty is creating a welcoming atmosphere that lets everyone feel like they are coming to grandma’s house for a delicious Sunday meal,” said Deputy Supervisor Ed Lachterman, who helped the DePaterios celebrate their anniversary.
Little Sorrento is taking Mother’s Day reservation for its prix fixe Sunday dinner on May 12. The four-course meal starts at $49.95 for adults and $16.95 for children.
