Tree Permit Application

Chapter 270 of the Yorktown Town Code outlines the requirements and process for obtaining a Tree Removal Permit.  If your proposed development is a regulated activity as defined by the ordinance, you must apply for a Tree Removal Permit from the Town. 

Follow the instructions to make your application. As noted on the permit application cover sheet, the following items must be submitted:

  • Original Signed Application
  • Original Signed SHORT or Full EAF (Environmental Assessment Form)
  • Applicable Application Fee(s) - Checks made payable to: Town of Yorktown
  • One (1) paper set of plans/maps/SWPPP
  • Tree Permit Worksheet (Engineering Administrative Permits Only) OR
  • Tree Inventory Worksheet (Non-Administrative Permits Only)
  • Send a PDF copy of your submission to [email protected]
