Yorktown Municipal Offices Closed for Juneteenth

(June 17, 2022) – Yorktown’s municipal offices will be closed on Monday, June 20, in observance of Juneteenth.

The closures include Town Hall, the John C. Hart Memorial Library and the Albert A. Capellini Community and Cultural Center. Regularly scheduled programs in the municipal buildings will be suspended, in addition to parks and recreation programs.

Juneteenth is a federal holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans.
