An approved site plan, stormwater, tree permit, and special use permits for a 1.875 MW large-scale solar power generation system and a 1.875 MW battery energy storage system.

The development will disturb 15.90 acres of the 34.23 acre site. A conservation restriction was placed on approximately 19 acres of the parcel to ensure that this area will not be developed, and will be left undisturbed for the life of the lease for solar. A 6.5 acre portion of the undisturbed area will be fenced and rehabilitated by removing invasive species & non-native plants and then planting of native flowers, grasses, shrubs, and trees. The development includes installation of ground mounted photovoltaic panels, battery storage, tree removal, a stormwater pollution prevention plan, an associated access road, electric utility upgrades, and perimeter fencing and screening. 

The site is located at the address 3849 Foothill Street, Mohegan Lake, NY 10547, also known as Section 15.07, Block 1, Lot 5 on the Town of Yorktown Tax Map. The parcel consists of 34.23 acres in the R1-40 zoning district.
