Town Board Meeting Tonight Canceled, Special Meeting This Afternoon

TOWN OF YORKTOWN

NOTICE IS HERE GIVEN that the Town Board meeting scheduled for March 14, 2023 is canceled due to inclement weather.  The Town Board will hold a special meeting today, March 14, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. to pass the following resolutions:

BUDGET TRANSFER – AV ROOM MAINTENANCE

Be it Resolved, that the Comptroller is hereby authorized to process the following budget transfer:

From: A.1990.499.1              General Fund – Contingency Capital             $1,000.00

To: A1010.416                  AV Room Maintenance                                  $1,000.00

for the new cabling to be installed by Logically from the server room to AV room.

BUDGET TRANSFER – SUPERVISOR GAS/OIL

Be it Resolved, that the Comptroller is hereby authorized to process the following budget transfer:

From:  General Fund – Contingency (A1990.499)                $2,250.00

To:      Supervisor – Gas / Oil            (A1220.470)                $2,250.00

for January through December 2023 gas consumption in the Supervisor’s vehicle. 

BUDGET TRANSFERS – WORKER’S COMPENSATION

Be it resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Budget Transfers listed below to fund Worker’s Compensation claims paid from January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022:

APPOINTMENT (PROMOTIONAL PERMANENT) OF POLICE LIEUTENANT TIMOTHY KOLKMANN

BE IT RESOLVED, that Timothy Kolkmann is hereby appointed promotional permanent as a Police Lieutenant, job class code 0132-01, from Eligible List No. 73-569, effective March 21, 2023 to be paid from Yorktown SOA Salary Schedule, which is $160,413.00 annually;

BE IT RESOLVED, that this appointment is subject to a probationary period of not less than 12 nor more than 52 weeks, commencing on the first date of appointment on March 21, 2023.

APPOINTMENT (PERMANENT) OF POLICE OFFICER CHRISTINA M. DELATORRE

BE IT RESOLVED, that Christina M. Delatorre of Yorktown Heights, New York is hereby appointed permanent Police Officer in the Town of Yorktown Police Department from Eligible List No. 60-194, effective March 15, 2023 to be paid the contractual salary of $61,202.00 annually,

BE IT RESOLVED, that this appointment is subject to a probationary period of not less than 12 nor more than 78 weeks, commencing on the first date of appointment on March 15, 2023.

APPOINTMENT TEMPORARY RECREATION ASSISTANT – MICHAEL GOULD

BE IT RESOLVED, that Michael Gould of Yorktown Heights, NY, is hereby appointed temporary Recreation Assistant, job class code 0269-02, effective March 20, 2023 to be paid from Yorktown CSEA Salary Schedule A1, Group 3, Step 1 which is $44,312.00 annually,

BE IT RESOLVED, contingent upon successful completion of a drug test and reference checks that Michael Gould will report to work at the Recreation Department on March 20, 2023 and this date will be used as the first date of temporary appointment.
